I am entrepreneur, small investor and information technology professional. I live in Santo Domingo the capital of Dominican Republic. I got my degree in Computer System Engineer from APEC University. I do business and invest in Santo Domingo city which is not the easiest place to build business and make investments, but it is getting better.

Professionally speaking, I have more than 10 years of experience in IT field working with different technologies like routing, switching, voice over IP, security and Linux server. Currently, I hold the followings IT certifications: CCNA, CCDA, CCNA Voice, CCNA Security, Linux+, Network+, Security+ and CWNA.
In 2006, I started a new venture along with my partner Joel Valdez. We founded from scratch the company Capacity IT Academy which is an Internet start up offering online Information Technology Training in Spanish language. Currently,I’m working as Project and Academic Director at Capacity. Capacity’s niche market is people who lives in Latin America demanding outstanding programming and networking training in their own language. The profile of the ideal customer is a person who works on information technology field, does not have enough time to go to a regular classes and do not speak English language.
I’m the teacher of two online courses about IT technology. The first one is “Getting your Cisco CCNA Certification” (Spanish) and the second one is “Installing, Deploying and Supporting Linux Server” (Spanish).
I recently became book author. In 2010, I published the book “Invierta y Hagase Rico en la Bolsa”. It is the first book ever written in Spanish about how to invest in Wall Street from scratch. The book is focused on people who want to learn how to invest in United States Stock market but without prior knowledge or experience in the field of stock investment. It is the equivalent of Stock Investment for Dummies or something like this but for people who do not live in United States.
My book has been featured by major news papers in Dominican Republic. If you can read in Spanish, click on the following link to read an interview made by Periodico Hoy.
I love sports. I regularly play basketball and rafting. Also, love books, music, travel and outdoors activities.
I speak Spanish and English. Currently, I’m learning French.

Thank you for your comment.
Hi,I’m about to be a civil engineer but I also want to learn about investments and wall street. I have some doubts about how to start to be a small investor, I mean, I don’t have enough money, so, I’m planning to work one year at least and at the same time learning about investments and stuff so I can finally make my first investments.
Can you give me some advises about how to start my career so I can make the less mistakes. I would be great for me to have a mentor in this stuff.
Thank you.
